“In July of 2020, I decided I wanted to make a lifestyle change. I was the heaviest I’d been in my whole life, had a terrible relationship with food, and dreaded exercise. I reached out to Shelby for help and I’m so happy that I did. I was inspired by her own weight loss journey and was also aware of her education in public health. “2020 was a bad year for so many reasons! My biggest downfall was, I allowed Covid to be an excuse for my weight getting out of control and I became my heaviest EVER. The quarantine fifteen is an understatement. I have experimented with countless fad & popular-known diets but never had a COACH. I have followed Shelby’s journey on social media for quite a while and have been inspired by her. So, when she opened up her SBS program, I knew this was my opportunity to attack this the right way.... the healthy way. I am so glad I did! I lost almost 20 lbs in my initial 6-week program! I won’t sugar coat it..... it was HARD the first several days. But, once my body detoxed & my mind adjusted to this new way of feeding & nourishing my body, I felt and saw positive changes that I hadn’t with other “diets.” I learned that healthy food actually tastes better and it’s more filling once you’ve eliminated the bad stuff from your system!
